Orientation
We are so glad you have chosen Southeastern as your new home! We are here to do our best to make sure your first year at Southeastern is even better than you imagined, and that starts with Orientation.
Orientation is an experience full of programs and activities to prepare you for life as a Southeastern student. It’s the time to learn even more about important campus resources and opportunities available to enhance your college experience.
Your Checklist
Submit Immunization Records
Once you are admitted, Southeastern needs to have proof of
your appropriate immunizations, as required by Louisiana state
laws. Here is the required Immunization Form. Please submit
your records to us via email to
[email protected] or fax to (985) 549-2093.
Did you know that students that live on campus have higher overall GPAs and graduate at a higher rate? Our residence halls fill up fast so please apply for housing now!
Now that you have been fully admitted to Southeastern, you will need to check your email for your Orientation invitation. Invitations to Orientation are emailed as soon as you are fully admitted to Southeastern; be sure your immunization records are submitted. Orientation Information
Louisiana Students
Southeastern can access in-state transcripts through the Louisiana Department of Education. If a paper transcript is needed, you will be contacted directly.
Non-Louisiana Students
Ask your high school counselor to send your transcript:
- Fax to (985) 549-5882
- Email to admissiondocs@southeastern.edu
- Mail an official transcript in a sealed envelope

However, please check your application portal to ensure that
we do have them. We must have official transcripts from high
school, all dual enrollment credits, and/or any college or
university you may have attended. If you have completed dual
enrollment elsewhere, be sure to contact each specific
institution to have them officially send your transcripts to
Southeastern.
Once you have attended Orientation you can make changes to
your class schedule and pay fees. Fee bills are issued close to
the beginning of each semester. Please check your Workday
account to check your balance and to ensure your fee bill is
paid before the fee payment deadline as listed in the academic
calendar.
